Ravens Hollow

An adult urban-fantasy vampire series.

THE WORLD

Ravens Hollow is set primarily in Colorado, where contemporary cities rise against mountains that remember far older truths. Beneath the surface of ordinary life exists a hidden vampire society shaped by lineage, politics, and long memory.

These vampires do not haunt castles or alleyways. They hold territory. They negotiate power. They remember who was banished — and why.

THE SHAPE OF THE STORY

The series unfolds across multiple novels, following characters bound by inheritance, loyalty, and unfinished love. Power passes from one generation to the next, often unwillingly. Violence carries consequence. Affection survives in defiance rather than safety.

At its center, Ravens Hollow asks what it means to belong — to a family, to a bloodline, to a system that demands obedience even as it corrodes those who serve it.

VAMPIRE MYTH, RECONSIDERED

This is not a story of vampires as singular monsters or romantic ornaments. Vampires in Ravens Hollow exist as a society — governed, stratified, and constrained by their own laws.

Folklore informs the foundations of the world, while modern science and medicine complicate what immortality means in the present age. Darkness does not vanish in the light. It adapts.

THE WORK NOW

Ravens Hollow is planned as a four-book vampire series with companion volumes, unfolding as a single, cohesive narrative.
The first novel, What Darkness Reveals, is scheduled for release in June 2026.

While the series forms a complete arc, it exists within a broader body of vampire fiction written without a single prescribed form.

I don’t believe writers control stories. I believe we serve them — with patience, discipline, and a willingness to let them change shape when necessary.
